Shauna Haight is an experienced Speech Language Pathologist who has worked in the profession since 1987. Work settings have included providing speech/ language therapy in a childrens' rehabilitation centre, hospitals, and public school boards. Shauna is currently located at Centrepointe Professional Services and often works as part of a multi-disciplinary team including psychologists, social workers and educators. Shauna has a wide range of experience with both preschool and school aged children . Areas of practice include childhood apraxia of speech (CAS) and articulation and language therapy to toddlers, preschoolers and school aged children and teens. Shauna is available to consult with teachers, parents to develop effective strategies for language learning disabled children and children with reading disabilities and autism spectrum disorders. Shauna is Lidcombe certified therapist, able to work with preschool disfluency /stuttering. She is listed with the Ontario Parent and Professional Education Network for Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She has recently completed the Registered Behaviour Technician Training (RBT).
